Abstract

Desde los albores de la revolución industrial, los humanos hemos visto a la naturaleza como un recurso del cual extraer productos básicos: pescado, energía, minerales, madera. La naturaleza también es vista como un lugar para disponer de nuestra basura, a menudo sin considerar los impactos sobre la condición humana, mientras nuestras vidas dependen de un ecosistema saludable.
