Trabajadores inmigrantes y migrantes racializados y agencias de trabajo temporal y reclutamiento (ATTRs) en Montreal

Resumen


Este artículo desarrolla un marco general que vincula las políticas migratorias canadienses con el racismo y racialización presentes en la sociedad canadiense. Asimismo, explora el rol que cumplen las Agencias de Trabajo Temporal y Reclutamiento (ATTRs) en la administración de la mano de obra inmigrante y migrante en Montreal. Las conclusiones buscan sintetizar y relacionar la descripción de las anteriores secciones para pensar el rol de las ATTRs dentro del complejo de conocimiento crítico sobre economía, inmigración, trabajo, derechos humanos y sociales, racismo y racialización en Canadá. 

Abstract

This paper develops a general frame to link Canadian migration policies with the racism and racialization in the Canadian society. It also explores the role of the Temporary Work and Recruitment Agencies (TWRAs) to manage immigrant and migrant labour in Montreal. The conclusions aims to synthetize and relate previous sections around the role of the TWRAs inside the complex of critical knowledge of economic, migration, work, human and social rights, racism and racialization in Canada.
