El legado de Bell Hooks. Estética oposicional y ética del amor
Resumen
En este trabajo rastreamos las contribuciones de la recientemente fallecida autora Bell Hooks a dos temas de interés: el arte y el amor, así como sus conexiones, en dos de sus libros más importantes, Arte en mi cabeza de 1995 y Todo sobre el amor de 2000. De este trabajo con los textos emergerá por un lado una sistematización de las fuentes teóricas del pensamiento hooksiano -el feminismo y la teoría crítica, el budismo y la teología afroamericana-, y por otro el delinamiento de dos conceptos que pueden resultar altamente fructíferos para las ciencias sociales actuales -la estética oposicional y la ética del amor-.
