La violencia como síntoma: Apuntes sobre el fenómeno de los linchamientos en la Argentina reciente.

Resumen

Durante los meses de marzo y abril irrumpió en Argentina el fenómeno de los “linchamientos” como una forma de “justicia por mano propia”, que en las cadenas massmediáticas se mostró de forma espectacularizada y extendida. En este artículo entonces nos proponemos poner de relieve los discursos mediáticos, políticos y sociales que funcionaron como condición de posibilidad para la existencia del fenómeno. Simultáneamente, buscamos indagar en la fluctuación y condensación de sentidos sobre los linchamientos que entendemos se construyó a partir de la tríada Medios- Víctimas- Castigo. El fin es reflexionar sobre las formaciones discursivas que legitiman la violencia, atendiendo a la coyuntura sociopolítica en que se asientan y las resistencias que suscitan.

Violence as a symptom: Notes on the phenomenon of lynchings in recent Argentina.

During the months of March and April broke in Argentina the phenomenon of "lynching" as a form of take justice into their own hands that the Media shows in a spectacularized and extended form. In this article then we aim to highlight the media, political and social discourses that functioned as a condition of possibility for the existence of the phenomenon. Simultaneously, we seek to investigate the fluctuation and condensation on lynchings that we understand was built from the triad Media- Victims- Punishment. The aim is to reflect on the discursive formations that legitimize violence, considering the socio-political situation in which they are based and the resistances that arise.
