La bandera roja. Represión y lucha ideológica en torno al 1° de mayo: Gualeguaychú, 1921.

Resumen

El año 1921 estuvo signado por fuertes represiones al movimiento obrero argentino. Los trabajadores de Entre Ríos no serían ajenos a este hecho. En ese contexto, se produciría en Gualeguaychú la represión al acto del 1° de mayo organizado por los trabajadores de la Federación Obrera Departamental (FOD). En este artículo, luego de hacer una breve mención a la génesis del movimiento obrero en Entre Ríos en general y en Gualeguaychú en particular, abordaremos brevemente los hechos de Villaguay en febrero, rastreando posibles elementos de continuidad entre ambos hechos; para luego sí, adentrarnos en la descripción y posterior análisis de lo sucedido el 1° de mayo en Gualeguaychú, poniendo especial énfasis en las formas de organización que se dieron las fuerzas enfrentadas y en la lucha ideológica expresada en la disputa simbólica por la bandera y el sentido del 1° de mayo.

The red flag. Repression and ideological struggle around the 1st of May: Gualeguaychú, 1921.

The year of 1921 was signed by strong repressions over the argentinian workers movement. The workers from Entre Ríos were not oblivious to this fact. In that context, happened in Gualeguaychú the repression of the act of the first of may, organized by the workers of the Federación Obrera Departamental (FOD). In this work, after a brief mention to the genesis of the workers movement in Entre Ríos in general and in Gualeguaychú in particular, we will consider briefly the facts happened in Villaguay in february, tracking possibles elements of continuity between both of them; and then yes, getting inside the description and subsequent analyse of the 1st of May in Gualeguaychú, focusing in the forms of organization of the opposing forces and in the ideological struggle expressed in the simbolic dispute for the flag and the sense of the first of May.
