La edición de este nuevo número de {PSOCIAL} nos encuentra una vez más atravesando un contexto difícil, en el marco de la pandemia del COVID-19. A pesar de ello, nos alegra informarles que junto al Equipo Editorial hemos continuado profundizando la visibilidad de la revista, la cual ha sido aceptada en Scielo y Redalyc. Agradecemos nuevamente a Lucía Correa y Guillermo Banzatto de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, y a Fernando Rodriguez, Coordinador Ejecutivo de la Red de Revistas Científicas de América Latina y el Caribe, España y Portugal, por el apoyo técnico en la maquetación de los artículos mediante el software de marcado AmeliCA XML.

Por otra parte, en cuanto a las modificaciones acaecidas en el equipo editorial nos alegra informarles que la Dra. Gisela Matrángolo (Universidad Maimónides) deja el cargo de Asistente Editorial para comenzar a formar parte del Comité Editorial, lo cual supone nuevas responsabilidades y desafíos enriquecedores desde el punto de vista académico. Agradecemos por otra parte a Juan Ignacio Irurzún (Universidad de Flores), asistente editorial, quien deja su cargo a partir de este número, por el invaluable esfuerzo, dedicación y compromiso con nuestro proyecto editorial durante su adscripción a la revista.

En primer lugar, en el artículo “Niveles de resiliencia y estrés percibido en personal esencial y no esencial durante la cuarentena por COVID-19”, Milagros Justo, Yesica Silva, Ariadna Davies, Marcela Gracia, Solana Rietti, y Maximiliano Preuss (2021) estudian la relación entre los niveles de resiliencia y el estrés percibido en población esencial y no esencial. Los datos revelan una relación estadísticamente significativa entre resiliencia y estrés percibido. Estos resultados aportan luz sobre un problema de amplia relevancia en el contexto actual de la pandemia provocada por el virus del COVID-19.

En segundo lugar, en el artículo “Efectos de la necesidad cierre cognitivo en los estilos decisorios: un abordaje exploratorio” Emilio Antonio Recart Zapata, Luis Jaume, Manuel Passero y Susana Azzollini (2021) exploraron la relación entre la necesidad del cierre cognitivo y los estilos decisorios. Los resultados indican que si bien no existe una relación contundente entre ambas variables, este abordaje exploratorio merece seguir siendo explorado en futuras investigaciones.

En tercer lugar en el artículo “Individuo y sociedad. Un estudio de la subjetividad en el ideario discursivo de Mauricio Macri”, Micaela Ciardiello y Gaston Becerra (2021) proponen dilucidar el ideario político del discurso del ex Presidente de la Nación Argentina Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), desde una metodología mixta que combina análisis interpretativo y técnicas estadísticas y computacionales de análisis textual. De acuerdo con los resultados, la subjetividad y la sociedad se encuentran en línea con algunas perspectivas sociológicas recientes que proponen alejarse de categorías tales como sociedad, socialización, institución y Estado, proponiendo centrarse en el individuo y la acción.

The edition of this new issue of {PSOCIAL} finds us once again going through difficult times, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Despite this, we are happy to inform you that together with the Editorial Team we have continued to deepen the visibility of this journal, which has been accepted in Scielo and Redalyc.

We are pleased to inform you that Dr. Gisela Matrángolo (Maimónides University) has left the position of Editorial Assistant to become part of the Editorial Committee, which entails new responsibilities and enriching academic challenges. We would also like to thank Juan Ignacio Irurzún (Universidad de Flores), Editorial Assistant, who leaves his position as of this issue, for his invaluable effort, dedication, and commitment to our editorial project during his time as a member of the journal.

First, in the article "Levels of resilience and perceived stress in essential and non-essential personnel during quarantine by COVID-19", Milagros Justo, Yesica Silva, Ariadna Davies, Marcela Gracia, Solana Rietti, and Maximiliano Preuss (2021) study the relationship between levels of resilience and perceived stress in essential and non-essential population. The data reveal a statistically significant relationship between resilience and perceived stress. These results shed light on a problem of broad relevance in the current context of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus.

Second, in the article "Effects of the need for cognitive closure on decision-making styles: an exploratory approach" Emilio Antonio Recart Zapata, Luis Jaume, Manuel Passero, and Susana Azzollini (2021) explored the relationship between the need for cognitive closure and decision-making styles. The results indicate that although there is no strong relationship between the two variables, this exploratory approach deserves to be further explored in future research.

Third, in the article "Individual and society. A study of subjectivity in the discursive ideology of Mauricio Macri", Micaela Ciardiello and Gaston Becerra (2021) propose to elucidate the political ideology of the discourse of the former President of Argentina Mauricio Macri (2015-2019), from a mixed methodology that combines interpretive analysis and statistical and computational techniques of textual analysis. According to the results, subjectivity and society are in line with some recent sociological perspectives that propose to move away from categories such as society, socialization, institution, and state, proposing to focus on the individual and action.
