Trabajadores bengalíes en Samambaia, Distrito Federal de Brasil: potencial de inserción en el mercado de trabajo local

Resumen


Este artículo es producto de una investigación sobre las características sociolaborales de la inmigración bengalí en Samambaia (Brasil) y su inserción en el mercado de trabajo en el Distrito Federal (Brasilia). La investigación fue una iniciativa del Instituto Migrações e Direitos Humanos (IMDH) tras prestar trabajo de asistencia social y protección jurídica (2011 - 2013) a 250 bengalíes aproximadamente que viven en Samambaia. Esta inmigración presenta un fuerte potencial de inserción local debido, tanto a factores internos de atracción de mano de obra, como externos de expulsión de la misma en el país de origen.

Abstract

This article is the result of an investigation into the social and labor characteristics of Bengali immigration Samambaia (Brazil) and their insertion in the labor market in the Federal District (Brasilia). The research was an initiative of the Institute Migrações e Direitos Humanos (IMDH) after giving labor welfare and legal protection (2011 - 2013) approximately 250 Bangladeshis living in Samambaia. This immigration has a strong potential for local insertion due to both internal pull factors of labor, and external eject it in the country.
