This paper presents some research results from our project “Letter. Image. Sound”, focused on the study of the relationships between mediatizations and urban spaces. We have specialized in sound media and music and their relationships with digital mediatizations and live musical performers. Firstly, we review the development of our work. Secondly, we present research results in two different levels of the relationship between mediatizations and musical circuits. On the one hand, the life of tango dance venues (milongas) and on the other hand, an exploration of the musicians in the underground of the city of Buenos Aires. Both cases are described and discussed in the frame of the relationship between networking and face-to-face performances.
