Abstract

The present work will refer to the possibility of developing a disciplinary space that, unlike the History of the media, typical of the presentation in time of the occurrences and phenomena related to communication, focuses on the processes that originate it and give rise to its development. This transition from media events to processes will give rise to another history: the History of mediatization, which will have as its source of production the partial histories that refer to the products —given in time and place— that refer to the development of the discursive exchanges in the course of time.
