Abstract
The article deals on the comprehension of the communicational fenomenon of advertising as an action constituted from cultural representations. Analyzing the discoursive deixis within the use of “Portunhol”, taken as one of the Dialects of Uruguayan Portuguese (Dialetos do Português do Uruguai – DPU), in advertising campaign situation. The ability of an advertising campaign is recognized to be able to explore her that the power of language to designate, demonstrating the use of a sudden “portunhol” and not using concepts. The power of its symbolic designation communicatively linked in a way that only the mood provides join.
