As a president, as an activist, and as a human being: CFK in 140 characters

Abstract

This paper is an exploratory analysis of some tweets from the current president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Without claiming the representativeness of the corpus to analyze, we will use for this paper tweets posted during the months of May and June 2014. From the consideration that Twitter reinforces contact one-on-one, a breakdown of the hierarchical relationship and building an alleged horizontality, we wonder how these characteristics of this microblogger features work when the writer’s tweets is the president of Argentina.
