Percepción de amenaza en inmigrantes argentinos en Israel: personalidad, exposición al exogrupo, orientación a la dominancia social y autoritarismo de derecha

Este estudio examina los vínculos entre la exposición al grupo externo, los rasgos de personalidad, la teoría de la dominancia social (SDO), el autoritarismo de derecha (RWA) y la percepción de amenazas entre los inmigrantes argentinos en Israel. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 207 inmigrantes latinoamericanos residentes en Israel, con edades comprendidas entre 20 y 81 años (M = 52.06; SD = 14.6) en ambos sexos (Hombres = 34.8%; Mujeres = 65.2%). Los hallazgos revelan una correlación negativa entre la amabilidad y la percepción de amenaza, una correlación positiva entre RWA, SDO y percepción de amenaza mientras que, contrariamente a lo esperado, no proporcionaron evidencia de una correlación con la exposición al exogrupo según se ha evaluado por el tiempo pasado en Israel. En estudios futuros, sugerimos tener en cuenta otras variables al medir la exposición al grupo externo, como el lugar de residencia en Israel, ya que las diferentes áreas ofrecieron una composición demográfica diferente, lo que afecta la tasa de intensidad de las interacciones fuera del propio grupo.Referencias
