Imagining Israel: Social Representations among Argentine Jews

Resumen

This study examines social representations of Israel and the Law of Return among Argentine Jews who migrated to Israel. Through in-depth interviews, it explores pre-migration imaginaries and their transformation after settlement. Findings reveal a tension between ideological and technical representations of the Law of Return, closely linked to migration motivations and processes of identity reconstruction.
