Abstract

This study explores the psychological impact of spirituality, religious coping, and fear of death among Argentine Jewish migrants in Israel, using psychometric assessments and socio-demographic data. The research employs the Acculturation Scale, the Spirituality and Religious Sentiments scale (ASPIRES), the Fear of Death Scale (FODS), the Fear of COVID-19 Scale, the Perception of Threat Scale (POT), and the Centrality of Events scale to analyze how these factors interplay in the context of major life events, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and the Iron Swords War. By comparing two major crises—one global and one regional—the research aims to better understand the emotional and psychological adaptations of this population.
