Validación de la Escala de Miedo a la Muerte Abreviada al contexto argentino

Abstract


La Escala de Miedo a la Muerte es una de las técnicas más empleadas en la actualidad para la evaluación del constructo. Sin embargo, no se han relevado antecedentes de estudios que exploren sus propiedades psicométricas en el contexto local. Por este motivo, el presente estudio se propone adaptar y validar la técnica en una muestra de 150 estudiantes universitarios de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. De acuerdo con los resultados, la escala presenta propiedades psicométricas aceptables para su administración nuestro contexto. Sin embargo, tal como sugiere la literatura, se recomienda que futuros estudios puedan emplear otros tipos de muestras, además de estudiantes universitarios.
