Opiniones sobre la Astrología y la Ciencia: una exploración cualitativa.

Abstract


La pregunta “¿qué es la astrología?” suscita no sólo una enorme variedad de respuestas sobre las características de dicho conocimiento, sino una polémica interesante que versa sobre la naturaleza del conocimiento en general y la ciencia en particular. Con el objetivo de explorar tal diversidad de puntos de vista, se encuestó a través de internet a un conjunto de voluntarios con alguna formación académica sobre sus opiniones acerca de la astrología y la ciencia. Se distribuyeron las respuestas según se hubieran expresado al respecto de las características, veracidad y  utilidad de la astrología, su involucración personal con la misma, y sus opiniones sobre la función del horóscopo. Se reflexiona sobre la diversidad de creencias y visiones de los entrevistados con respecto a la astrología.
