Factores de la personalidad y su relación con la autoestima, la espiritualidad y la centralidad de los eventos traumáticos

Abstract


En la actualidad, numerosos estudios han destacado el impacto que presentan diversas problemáticas psicosociales en la formación del self y de la autoestima en la infancia, adolescencia y juventud. Además, se han identificado diversos trabajos que vinculan tales problemáticas con síntomas de estrés postraumático. En particular, el presente trabajo se propone realizar una revisión bibliográfica en las bases de datos Scielo, Latindex, Redalyc, PubMed y ERIC con el fin de integrar los resultados de las investigaciones que asocian tales problemáticas a la autoestima y al estrés postraumático en la infancia, adolescencia y juventud en el marco del Modelo y la Teoría de los Cinco Factores de la personalidad. Los resultados permiten concluir que el FFM y el FFT constituyen una propuesta teórica que posibilitaría comprender las relaciones entre los constructos mencionados atendiendo a los desarrollos más recientes en el área de la Psicología de la Personalidad. Sin embargo, futuros trabajos podrían contribuir a conocer el modo en que la espiritualidad se asocia al FFM y el FFT.
