La Naturaleza en la Reflexión Sociológica Clásica

Abstract

Es común entre los creadores de la sociología ambiental señalar que, los padres fundadores del pensamiento social, no pensaron a la naturaleza como factor explicativo de lo social, y que guardaron silencio ante su devastación. En este trabajo se problematiza esa idea y se plantea que, más que ceguera ante la naturaleza, debemos hablar de una doble exclusión, epistemológica y ontológica y que, la emergencia de lo natural a la mirada social, tiene que ver con la magnitud de la crisis ambiental y con la problematización de la relación de dominación sobre la naturaleza emprendida por la sociología contemporánea.
