Althusser y Derrida: entrecruzamientos y convergencias de un pensamiento amigo.

Resumen

La relación entre Louis Althusser y Jacques Derrida no debe ser circunscripta a la profunda y pública amistad personal iniciada en la juventud de ambos y mantenida hasta el final de sus vidas. Dejando de lado la cuestión biográfica, lo que se intentará realizar es una lectura que, aunque respetuosa de la especificidad de cada obra, permita desarrollar un diálogo entre ambos pensadores, tomando como eje central del mismo una serie de conceptos tales como síntoma, acontecimiento, alteridad, especularidad e ideología. Estas nociones permitirán replantear la relación entre teoría y práctica, como condición necesaria para desentrañar la especificidad de lo subalterno, desmarcándolo de las posiciones ciertas post-estructuralistas, las cuales, al hipostasiar el terreno de lo contingente, impiden percibir la funcionalidad de las injusticas cometidas en la estructuración de la totalidad social.

Althusser and Derrida: cross-linking and convergence of a friend thought.

The relationship between Louis Althusser and Jacques Derrida must not be circumscribed to the deep and public personal friendship initiated in the youth of both and maintained until the end of their lives. Setting aside the biographical question, what I will try to do is a reading which, though respectful of the specificity of each work, allows to develop a dialogue between both thinkers, taking as central axis a number of concepts such as symptom, event, otherness, specularity and ideology. These notions will allow to rethink the relationship between theory and practice, as a necessary condition to show the specificity of the subaltern, distinguishing it from actual post-structuralist positions, which, hypostatizing the realm of the contingent, do not let understand the functionality of the injustices committed in the structuring of the social totality.
