Resumen:
Este artículo propone una reflexión profunda sobre los vaivenes que atraviesan las madres que protegen ante la develación de violencia sexual que han sufrido sus hijes, en el contexto de la Argentina contemporánea.
En primer lugar, se analiza la evolución histórica y la visibilización de esta problemática, justificando la elección del término Violencia Sexual contra Niñeces y Adolescencias en lugar de Abuso Sexual Infantil por su carga política y conceptual. A continuación, se describe la dinámica de esta violencia, incluyendo las estrategias de manipulación y preparación que el agresor despliega para someter a la víctima.
El texto también aborda las consecuencias subjetivas que se desencadenan en la madre al develarse el hecho, con el impacto emocional, ético y político que esto implica.
Luego, se examinan las prácticas institucionales, que reproducen mitos y estereotipos de género, que afectan a las madres protectoras, al deslegitimarlas en su rol, por no haber evitado el hecho.
Se continúa con una descripción de las políticas públicas de cuidado en la actualidad de la Argentina, donde se observa un desmantelamiento de estas y una demonización de la perspectiva de género. Se explica cómo estas transformaciones agravan aún más la problemática que aquí se presenta.
Finalmente, el artículo concluye con una serie de reflexiones que buscan abrir preguntas éticas, políticas y teóricas sobre el cuidado, las perspectivas que lo enmarcan, y la urgencia de construir dispositivos y prácticas promotoras de derechos que reconozcan y acompañen estas situaciones.

This article offers a critical reflection on the complex experiences faced by mothers who protect their children following the disclosure of sexual violence, within the context of contemporary Argentina.
It begins by analyzing the historical evolution and increasing visibility of this issue, justifying the use of the term Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents instead Child Sexual Abuse, due to its political and conceptual implications. The article then describes the dynamics of this violence, including the manipulative strategies and preparatory stages that perpetrators deploy to subject their victims.
The text also explores the subjective consequences triggered in the mother upon disclosure, highlighting the emotional, ethical, and political impact of such revelations.
Subsequently, it examines institutional practices that reproduce gender myths and stereotypes, which undermine protective mothers by delegitimizing their role and blaming them for not preventing abuse.
The article continues with an overview of current public care policies in Argentina, noting their dismantling and the growing demonization of gender perspectives. It explains how these transformations further worsen the challenges faced by protective mothers and the broader issue of sexual violence against children and adolescents.
Finally, the article concludes with a series of reflections aimed at opening ethical, political, and theoretical questions about care, the frameworks that shape it, maternal resistance, and the urgent need to build rights-promoting mechanisms and practices thatacknowledge and support these situations.
